With Dan Driscoll, MA, Coordinator of Writing Curriculum Initiatives for the University Writing Program and Teaching Professor of English in the College of Arts and SciencesWhether you have never written an abstract before or you are looking to improve your writing skills, this pre-conference workshop will provide a model for abstract writing that can be adapted to meet the needs of various disciplines and projects, including for STEM and non-STEM fields. Students will be able to begin drafting an abstract—or work on an existing draft—during the session. Our facilitator and conference planning team will also be available to review abstracts in advance of submission for the conference.
