This workshop, offered virtually on Tuesday, March 5, 2024 from 4 to 5 p.m. with Dan Driscoll, MA, Coordinator of Writing Curriculum Initiatives for the University Writing Program and Teaching Professor of English in the College of Arts and Sciences, was meant to assist students with preparing to submit an abstract for the annual Drexel Emerging Graduate Scholars (DEGS) Conference. The workshop provides a model for abstract writing that can be adapted to meet the needs of various disciplines and projects. Please note that some programs/departments/disciplines may have specific guidance on or requirements for abstract writing. This session is meant to provide general, interdisciplinary guidance in accordance with the requirements for submission to the annual DEGS Conference.
