Objective: The objective of this
panel is to highlight the value of allyship to historically excluded groups in
career progression. We will identify both common gaps in allyship from women in
leadership roles to individuals from historically excluded groups. We will
discuss and elucidate practical and actionable strategies to close these gaps
and to increase inclusivity in medicine and academia.
