The Community-Engaged Research Symposium, held on Thursday, July 30, 2026 welcomed practitioners, scientists, funders, and network conveners in the field of community-engaged research. Our theme, Advancing the Science and Practice of Community-Engaged Research, advances the science of community-engaged research by creating opportunities for exchange and learning. This event included keynotes, panels, and concurrent presentations to:
- Showcase the innovative science and practice of community-engaged research.
- Create networking and knowledge-sharing opportunities for community-engaged research teams/projects and other practitioners, scientists, funders, and network convenors in this field.
- Share study designs, measures, and methods employed in community-engaged research.
About the Community-led Research Coordination Center (C3)
The Community-led Research Coordination Center (C3) is a national coordination center funded through the National Institutes of Health's (NIH) Common Fund. The Dornsife School of Public Health at Drexel University serves as the home for the Coordination Center in partnership with the University of New Mexico College of Population Health and the Department of Population Health at Virginia Tech. C3 develops and shares resources relevant to building research capacity in community-based organizations to support community engaged intervention research to improve population health.
